Police in Ontario, Canada, were searching for two people who they believe may have knowledge of the killing, according to The Associated Press. Dawn Grogan told Global News the man was her ex-boyfriend, Shawn Hill, and said he was not just a biker, but a businessman with a lot of money. The shooting occurred Tuesday in a community near Toronto that police are calling the “outlaw motorcycle community.” Police aren’t revealing the exact details of the shooting or if Hill and his alleged killer knew each other, but Canadian news outlets report that the victim and the suspect were in a relationship together before. Global News reports that police believe Hill was killed at the home of an Outlaws member, also known as “Mr. Classic.”
Despite three separate manhunts, police have not been able to locate the man or woman, but Grogan said she is convinced her ex’s killer is hiding in the neighborhood where she and their three children live. “We don’t know if they tried to hide or anything,” she told Global News. “They could just as easily be up the street. I definitely believe that he had help.” According to The Ottawa Citizen, Hill has an extensive criminal history. A warrant has been issued for him on charges that include human trafficking, kidnapping, forcible confinement, assault, possession of a dangerous weapon, and failing to comply with his bail conditions.
